Zum neuen Album "High" von NEW MODEL ARMY, das am 31.08.2007 veröffentlicht wird, gibt es jetzt schonmal hier die Gelegenheit reinzuhören. Neu dabei ist bei diesem Album der Bluesgitarrist Marshall Gill, produziert wurde es von Chris Kimsey (u.a. ROLLING STONES, KILLING JOKE)
Das neue Album "NOOB" der deutschen Electro-Popper DE/VISION wird am 24.08.2007 via Drakkar erscheinen. Eine Tour dazu wurde nun ebenfalls bestätigt. Sie startet am 22.09.2007, die genauen Termine findet ihr hier.
Auf der Homepage ihres Labels Deathwish Inc. haben THE GREAT DECEIVER einen Audioplayer mit Tracks ihres am 02.10. erscheinenden Albums "Life is Wasted on the Living" gelauncht.
Die dänischen Death Metaller werden ihr kommenden Album nicht mehr bei Roadrunner Records veröffentlichen. Jakob Batten (ILLDISPOSED) dazu:
"We are no longer part of the Roadrunner family. Roadrunner didn´t pick their third option with us - and honestly that was what we hoped for. We had a great time with Roadrunner, but it was a big problem to us that they refused to release our albums in the US and other important territories. Their company structure and way of working doesn´t fit a death metal band, we´re not mainstream enough for that. But they did open a lot of doors for us and we´re grateful for that.
Anyway, we´ve spent the last months negotiating with other labels and we will present our new label within the next few weeks. I can tell that this time we will be priority and that the new album will be out everywhere."
Die kommende ARCH ENEMY Scheibe (VÖ-Termin: 21.09.2007) wird "Rise of The Tyrant" heißen und wurde zusammen mit Produzent Fredrik Nordström (u.a. Dimmu Borgir, In Flames, At The Gates) im Studio Fredman aufgenommen, wo die Band zuvor schon sämtliche Alben bis einschließlich "Wages Of Sin" (2001) produziert hatte. Das Artwork ist bereits fertig und ein erster Höreindruck des Tracks "Blood On Your Hands" ist ab jetzt auf der MySpace-Seite der Band zu finden.
Arjen Lucassen hat einen weiteren Schritt im Rahmen seines aktuellen Albums für das Progressive Metal Projekt AYREON abgeschlossen. 13 unterschiedliche Stimmen werden bei dem Konzeptwerk dabei sein, bisher waren Magali Luyten (VIRUS IV) sowie Simone Simons (EPICA) bekannt. Nun wurde auch Ty Tabor von KING´S X am Mikro bestätigt. In nächsten Wochen werden jetzt noch 10 weitere Vocalisten Schritt für Schritt mit Soundsamples auf der Homepage des Niederländers veröffentlicht.
