RAZORBACK schimpft sich das neueste Signing bei Massacre Records. Hinter diesem neuen Namen verbergen sich einige bekannte Gesichter - Bandkopf Rolf Munkes (MAJESTY) hat seine ehemaligen Vanize-Mitstreiter Markus Bielenberg und Pierre Finehold sowie Chris Heun (ex-SHYLOCK) um sich geschart. An den Vocals hören wir keinen Geringeren als Stefan Berggren (ex-COMPANY OF SNAKES, Snakes in Paradise). Diese Hammertruppe veröffentlicht am 26.04. ihr Debut "Razorback" - könnte etwas gutes in Sachen melodischen Metals werden.

Kanada´s Vorzeigeholzfäller ANVIL haben ihr neues Album "Back to Basics" im Kasten! Drummer Rob Reiner verspricht eine Überraschung und ein sehr melodisches, kraftvolles Album - erhältlich ab dem 29.03.04.

Die schwedischen Power Metal Jungs von WOLF sind jetzt bei Massacre Records gelandet. Das neue Album wird am 26.04. mit zwei Bonustracks erscheinen! Das dritte Album "Evil Star" soll für die Band nach ihrer Tour mit SAXON im Januar ein grandioses Jahr 2004 einläuten.

Die Band hat alle anstehenden Konzerte bis auf weiteres abgesagt, da die Fertigstellung ihres Albums mehr Zeit benötigt, als sie zuerst dachten. Die Band gab folgendes Statement dazu ab: "Tiger Army is extremely sorry to announce that the European tour
scheduled for March must be postponed until later in the year. As you
may know, the
band has been in the recording studio since late September preparing the
new
album "III: Ghost Tigers Rise." Due to unforeseen circumstances, the
album is
not complete and studio work must continue through the album´s final
deadline
at the end of March. The release date has been pushed back twice
already, to
do so again is impossible for a number of reasons. The band will turn
in the
final record days before leaving on a two-month U.S. tour.
We apologize to the friends and fans in Europe who will be let down
or
inconvenienced by this news. We tried to find a way to make both things
work,
but as time wore on it became increasingly apparent that there was just
no way
to finish the record properly and do the European tour. It´s not a
decision
we made lightly -- know that the band is just as disappointed as anyone
not to
be able to play in Europe! Make-up dates are in the process of being
planned
now. We appreciate your support & understanding despite this difficult
situation and we WILL see you in Europe in 2004!

Massacre Records haben den weltweiten Exclusiv-Vertrieb für Iron Glory Records übernommen. Nachdem Massacre die Titel des Ludwigsburger True-Metal Kult-Labels bereits ausserhalb GAS seit Monaten vertreibt, wurde nun ein Komplett-Deal ausgehandelt. Damit werden alle künftigen Iron Glory-Releases auch in Deutschland über Massacre/Soulfood vertrieben.
