CRUEL HAND haben mit "Life In Shambles" einen ersten Song ihres Bridge9-Debüts "Prying Eyes" bei MySpace gepostet.

Drummer Snick hat seinen Job bei LAST MILE aufgrund von Rückenproblemen aufgeben müssen. Die Band dazu:

"Our very own, and very best HC drummer of all time, is not able to play drums any longer. His back is in such a bad condition that there was no other way to choose.
There is nothing he wants more than what he was doing with us, but he had to pull the plug some weeks ago.
He got surgery in February, and after 6 weeks he was back behind the kit. And we practised, played live and we recorded the album.

But at some point it went bad again, and the pain is simply too much for him to continue.
He played the last show with us in Copenhagen on the 18th of July in tremendous pain.

He got a list of all the normal day jobs that he is not allowed to do. So if he should place the job as a Hardcore drummer on that list, there would be a BIG warning sign and red fuckin´ lights all over the place.
Snick and I started this band, and the idea to continue without him seemed stupid to me.

But we all decided to go for it and give it a try. We all know it will never be the same, but we´ll give it a shot.
(All of this means that Snick is also no longer a part of Barcode)."

CRISIS NEVER ENDS haben Prevision Music unterschrieben. Das neue Album "Kill Or Cure" wird am 28.11. erscheinen.

SON OF SAM haben "Sons Of New" auf ihrer MySpace-Seite veröffentlicht.

ORDER OF ENNEAD-Klampfer Kevin Quirion wird DEICIDE ab sofort als Live-Gitarrist unterstützen. In seiner eigentlichen Band sind Steve Asheim (dr.) und Jack Owen (guit.) ebenfalls aktiv.

Auf der offiziellen Website von THE CURE wurde heute ein neues Releasedatum für ihr neues Album "4:13 Dream" bekanntgegeben. Statt dem ursprünglich geplanten 13.10.2008 soll es nun erst am 27.10.2008 erscheinen.

MARILLION werden ihr neues Album "Happiness Is The Road" (VÖ a, 20.10.2008) nicht nur über Marillion.com vertreiben. Stattdessen ist es ab heute als legaler P2P Download über diese Adresse verfügbar: http://www.musicglue.com/marillion.
