BiografieDerived from the Old English word for "Executioner", their moniker could not be more appropriate. It's a word that reeks of death and destruction from the Dark Ages to describe a fierce, dark death metal band. It's hard to imagine that San Diego, known for its white sand beaches and endless sunny days, is also home to the brutal beat down that is Carnifex.

Das CARNIFEX-Zweitwerk „The Diseased And The Poisoned“ entpuppt sich als grundsolide Scheibe, die Freunde brutalen modernen Metals gefallen dürfte. Wie es sich anno 2008 für eine junge Band gehört, sind CARNIFEX dauernd on the road.

Der Death Metal ist mit all seinen Variationen ist eigentlich eine feine Sache und lief mir allzeit gut rein.
CARNIFEX aus dem sonnigen San Diego haben sich einer bösen Mixtur von Death Metal und Hardcore verschrieben, die oft unter dem Label Deathcore verkauft wird, aber irgendwann ist auch mal gut mit immer
CARNIFEX sind live ein ziemliches Brett. Mir standen förmlich die Haare zu Berge, als die Band auf mich musikalisch einknüppelte und einen Brutaloriff nach dem nächsten auf die Zuschauer abfeuerte.
