Band:

The Morning After

BiografieHailing from the South East, TMA consists of four guys with an incessant passion for OTT, wailing 80's metal. Throwbacks? Think again fast.

Taking a 'back to the future' esque detour away from cliched song subjects, TMA thrive on Sci-Fi/Apocalyptic fiction and have a clear love for creating horror lyricism. Frontman Sam explains: "We dont write about love or the trials and tribulations of life because its been done to death so many times before! We mix things up with the music and write around totally fictional ideas, stories that really play on your imagination. We want people to hear our songs and visualise the story of that record."

What makes this band so exciting is that they've mixed the best examples of todays metal with British heavy metal that was around two decades ago. Think; dual guitar solos hotter than a night with Angelina Jolie, Beatdowns that could take your head clean off and bridges so epic and tough, you'd form a six pack and pecks with one dangerously infectious listen.

TMA are a band that have no regard or intention for being anything but 'over the top.' Choir sections, inward screams - check. Medieval guitar, stadium worthy singalongs - check. The fact is 'Hair Metal' never sounded so good and TMA will relentlessly take it to whole new levels.

For too long the music scene has grown stagnant under an ever thickening algae of 'fashionable rock bands', been over shadowed by smartly dressed fat cats telling us 'whats hot and whats not.' Well, it seems its finally time for a change in the winds. For the real 'foot on the wedge hair metal' experience head to a live show in a town near you!

THE MORNING AFTER sind bisher weder Fisch noch Fleisch, mischen sie doch munter Glam Rock und modernen Metal, was zu schrägen Ergebnissen führen kann.

Bands wie THE MORNING AFTER werfen immer die Frage auf, ob sie überhaupt irgendwas ernst nehmen und wenn ja, was.
