Biografie1995Dimension Zero
The seed is planted for what's to become Dimension Zero by Jesper Strömblad (guitar & bass) and Glenn Ljungström (guitar). The first name for the band is Agent Orange. The bands line-up is later completed by Hans Nilsson (drums) and Jocke Göthberg (vocals).
1996
The MCD "Penetrations From The Lost World" is recorded.
1997
"Penetrations From The Lost World" is released.
1998
The song "They Are Waiting To Take Us" is written and recorded for a compilation album.
1999
Silence.
2000
The band starts writing songs for the debut album.
2001
"Silent Night Fever" is recorded.
2002
"Silent Night Fever" is released.
Early in the year Daniel Antonsson(guitar) joins the band and Jesper switches to be the permanent bassplayer. In May the band starts to rehearse for their first tour, in Asia. The first gig ever for the band is done in Tokyo, Japan followed by 2 more Japanese shows and one in Korea. In July the band play their first Swedish gig in Gothenburg. The autumn is spent writing songs for the follow up to "Silent Night Fever".
2003
In February the band enters the studio for the recording of "This Is Hell". One gig is played in Sweden at the 2000 Decibel festival in May. Early August the band plays the Party-san Open air festival in Germany immediately followed by Glenn Ljungströms departure from the band. In October the re-release of "Penetrations From The Lost World" is unveiled followed by the second studioalbum "This Is Hell".
2004 A European headliner tour is done, followed by a second Japanese one.
2006 The third album "He who shall not bleed" is recorded.
2007. Now.

Jocke, Sänger bei DIMENSION ZERO, trauert. Um Johnny Cash, der am Vorabend des Interviews verstarb. "Traurig, aber wahr", meint der sichtlich betroffene Vokalist bei einer Tasse schwarzen Kaffee. "Aber echte Könige sterben nie." Unsterblich ist der Norrköpinger mit seiner Band sicherlich noch nicht.

Er hat bei MARDUK gleich drei Alben eingespielt: Jocke Göthberg von DIMENSION ZERO. Und er hat´s gern immer noch hart. Genau wie sein Mitstreiter Jesper Strömblad, der ansonsten mit IN FLAMES durch die Lande zieht. KILL FUCK DIE kommt trotzdem nich in die Tüte, abdudeln wollen sich die Schweden auch keinen. Eher dienen die Texte als Ventil.

Rechtzeitig zum Release der göttlichen neuen Scheibe "This Is Hell" schmeißen Regain auch das erste Mini-Album von DIMENSION ZERO auf den Markt und penetrieren damit den Geldbeutel der Fans.
Irgendwie erinnert mich der CD-Titel an JOHN TRAVOLTA. Aber weit gefehlt, es geht um IN FLAMES, MARDUK, CRYSTAL AGE. Boah ey; Name-Dropping par excellence.
