ANGELICA

Angelica is a Swedish/Australian singer who has made something of a name for herself among modern metal circles. With her powerful vocal presence and notably fetching looks, she’s been a major factor in putting Swedish Cinematic metal band The Murder of My Sweet on the map! With her solo album THRIVE (Frontiers Records 2013) that taps more into the traditional 80’s metal AOR vibe, she has most assuredly taken center stage to deliver an even more pronounced focus on those soaring vocals.

Besides singing, Angelica is an experienced songwriter. She has worked with artists like Jesper Stromblad (In Flames, The Resistance) Magnus Karlsson (Primal Fear), Fredrik Åkesson (Opeth), Peter Wichers (Soilwork), Harry Hess (Harem Scarem), Bobby Ljunggren (Swedish award winning song writer),  Peter Kvint (Brittney Spears, The Ark), Magnus Funemyr (Tackey & Tsubasa- Japanese platinum artists) among others. All resulting in very exiting songs and projects. In august 2010 famous Japanese singer/actress/model Anna Tsuchiya released her own version of The murder of my sweets song Follow the rain called Shout in the rain. A great honor for the band!
