BiografieThyruz was formed back in the late summer of 1999, and all the members

are from Eidsvoll in Norway. We found a suitable place for our practice,

a 100 years old mill deep in the woods. Inspiration to write good blackmetal come automatically.

Already next year in the beginning of the new millenium, we did our first

demo called ?Fairytales in flames?. Recorded at Norges lydskole.

We also did our first series of gigs and concerts.



In May 2001 we recorded ?Ride this beast of nightmare? in V8 studio. This

become our second demo release.



Thyruz got the privileges to play at Gamla in Oslo, in a

vorspiel to Infernofestival in April 2003. We also made our third demo

this year, ?Develish devine? for the first time at Myrk studio.



2004 was a very busy year. We did our first music video ?Gormandized

salvation? and later on our fourth demo, ?Crucifixion failure? at Myrk

studio. We also did a lot of gigs around in Norway.



?Martyrenes rike? (Kingdom of the martyrs) become our second music-

video and also self produced like the first one. In December 2005, we

released our fifth and newest demo ?Blasphemy? at Myrk studio where

we record and produce everything on our own.



In 2006 we made a lot of new material, and went to studio to record our first

album who was finished in November and contains 14 tracks. Also this at

Myrk and V8 studio.



2007 has already been a great year, in January we signed a record deal with

Twilight-Vertrieb in Germany. The release date for the new album

?Northern blasphemy? are 08.06.07 and it will also contain a remastered and

mixed version of the video ?Martyrenes rike?.

In the history of Thyruz we have hade a few changes, but today´s line-up is
