FINAL CRY

FINAL CRY wurden bereits 1989 im Weserbergland / Niedersachsen gegründet und sind seitdem ein fester Bestandteil der deutschen Metal,- und Underground Szene.

Stilistisch steht die im Thrash verwurzelte Band seit jeher für kraftvollen, schnellen Metal mit schnellen, messerscharfen Riffs und treibenden Drums, welcher mit viel Melodie und Atmosphäre die musikalischen Stile vom Speed- & Thrash Metal der 80er Jahre bis hin zu den düsteren skandinavischen Death- & Black Metal-Stilen der 90er Jahre verbindet. Im Laufe der Zeit sind dabei vor allem die zunehmend aggressivere, intensiveren Vocals das stilprägende Element.
Anfang 2021 hat sich die Band mit Across The Burning Sky (und ex-Subconscious) Frontmann Kai verstärkt, um die notorisch vakante Position des Sängers dauerhaft zu besetzen. Zwischenzeitlich unterschrieben Final Cry bei MDD Records, um den Nachfolger des 2018 erschienenen Longplayers "Zombique" zu veröffentlichen.
Das neue Album, welches im Soundlodge Studio unter den Fittichen von Jörg Uken aufgenommen und produziert wird, dürfte sowohl alte als auch neue Fans der Niedersachsen begeistern und schon bald im Mittelpunkt ihrer energiegeladenen Shows stehen. Dabei gelingt es dem Quintett sich immer wieder neu zu erfinden, ohne  dabei ihre Wurzeln aus den Augen zu verlieren.

FINAL CRY is a band rooted in thrash metal, founded in 1989 in Lower Saxony, Germany.

Stylistically, the band has always stood for sawing guitars and raging drums, as well as fast, powerful metal, which bridges the musical styles from the speed & THRASH metal of the 80s to the more grim and dark Scandinavian DEATH & black metal styles of the 90s. After several changes at the mic post, the band's style has been characterised by increasingly intense, aggressive vocals in recent years.

In April 2021, the band announced that they join forces with Across The Burning Sky (and former Subconscious) frontman Aki to fill permanently the notoriously vacant vocalist position.   In March 2021, the band signed with German label MDD Records to release the follow-up to the 2018 released long player "Zombique". In doing so, the guys and the girl manage to reinvent themselves without losing sight of their roots.

According to the first samples, you can expect a real neckbreaker. Stirring Guitars and a great feeling for almost atmospheric, hymn-like melodies should enthuse both old and new fans of the band from Lower Saxony.
