BiografieItalian Heavy Metal band formed in 1997 by two guitar players Dave and Jan and the "screamer" Matteo.
Later the drummer Daniele and the bass player Fabrizio joined the band.

After the split with the singer and the bass player, the band changed line-up many times between 1998 and 1999 finding its stability with Rebba on bass and Dave as guitar player and singer.

Even the sound changed: from Power to Speed-Thrash Metal, a sort of mix of Megadeth and Arch Enemy with melodic inserts.

Once stable the line-up the band has been playing live many times with success receiving positive critics by the audience.

On March 31st 2001 Last Rites recorded their debut demo-cd at the "Nadir" studio of Tommy Talamanca (Sadist) conteining three songs: Poisonous, Paradise Lost and Skeleton.

After the recording sessions, Dan leaves the band.
On 24th November 2001 Last Rites enter in the Nadir studio to record a new song (Psycho Killer) that will appear on the compilation "Dhrone" for the NADIR MUSIC (may 2002). The drum parts were recorded by Luca Grosso of Projecto.
After that join in the band the drummer Mauro from Klasse Kriminale (An historical Italian Punk band).

News in September 2002: Mauro leaves Klasse Kriminale; Rebba was subtituted by Riccardo "Libu".

The 21st September the band take part at the final session of the Almoust Famous Competition at the Eagles Pub and won among 22 bands.
