BiografieMalus was founded in November 2001 by its only member Wargrath.
The intend was to make black, melancholic and misanthropic art of metal and
Wargrath used this music to handle his feelings and to give them a meaning.
The central point of the lyrics and the concept of the music is the rival
state between nature and man. In consequence of this the adverse situation
of hope and despair is an important subject.
Hatred towards the human race and disdain of social norms initiated the
activity of producing music and so this was perpetual the leading energy
behind Malus.

In the past many songs were composed, recorded and released nearly in the
same time and so four cds could be created and made accessible to the
audience within two years.
Due to the fact that Wargrath was involved in other bands and projects it
was not possible for him to continue with this frequency of producing music
concerning Malus. Besides this the working life and so this part of life
concerning society and integration pushed him into a deep black hole where
he could not find out that easily.

So for a long time there was silence around Malus.
But gradually Wargrath fought his lethargy and relocated his feelings to
carry on with hateful, dolorous and deep black art of music and so within
the last four years many songs where written and finally recorded. By the
end of the year 2007 the fifth opus will be released through Immense Storms
Production.
