Band:

Inmost Dense

BiografieIntroduction
INMOST DENSE are from Magdeburg in Sachsen-Anhalt/Germany. They play fast, brutal Death Metal with some technical elements. The current line-up:

Jens – Vocals
Wolf – Guitars
Daniel – Bass
Carsten – Drums

"Unfold" (June 2003) is INMSOT DENSE´S first full-length album. The band recoded it completely on its own. Again, guitarist Wolf engineered and produced the recording. The result is a brutal yet well-defined sound that never gets too clean, as is often the case with current productions.
The Album includes ten tracks (plus intro and interlude) that are somewhere close to the style of FLESHGRIND, DISGORGE (US) or DEEDS OF FLESH. That means brutal, technical US Death Metal with many punishing blast attacks plus breaks and fat mid-tempo riffs every now and then. But INMOST DENSE play their own style of music and never run the risk of sounding like a clone of any of the aforementioned bands.

The Long Story
Everything began in 1997 when Wolf bought his first guitar. His brother Carsten was more interested in playing drums and so they decided to make some music together. In 1998 they were joined by a second guitarist and a singer and called the band BLOODFEAST. But soon there were personal and musical differences and the band became a two-man-project of Wolf and Carsten again. They wrote a lot of songs and they were looking for a way to release a few of them. By the time they noticed that the name BLOODFEAST was already used by some other bands, they changed the name to INMOST DENSE. After coping with some difficulties (like 10 and 15 months of military service, rehearsal room being closed for half a year because the house was under reconstruction) they recorded and released their first demo CD "Purified" in September 2000 (Guitars by Wolf, drums and vocals by Carsten). The CD contained eight tracks of fast, grinding Death Metal in the vein of CANNIBAL CORPSE, SINISTER and IMMOLATION. The CD was mainly distributed among friends. After all, the band couldn´t play live without a singer and a bassist.
Shortly after, Carsten met Jens in a Metal club in Magdeburg. Jens liked the demo a lot and because of his impressive, deep voice he joined INMOST DENSE as a vocalist. The band decided to change the musical style a little because none of them wanted to play "traditional" Death Metal as they did on the demo anymore. Accordingly the band developed into a more "modern" direction. New influences were bands like FLESHGRIND, DISGORGE (US), DYING FETUS, DEEDS OF FLESH, VILE and CINERARY.
Finding a bassist was relatively easy. Daniel was playing guitar in a local Black/Death Metal band called ABSURD MANGLER. At that time his band had some line-up problems and wasn´t going too well. Wolf already knew Daniel from school and because Daniel liked the music of INMOST DENSE, he decided to fill the empty position of the bass player. In March 2002 the Promo CD "The Consequences Of Choice And Dissonance" was released and got great reviews. First live gigs followed and new songs were written.
The recordings for the first, self-produced full-length album "Unfold" started in Autumn 2002. Because of studying and work, they couldn´t finish the album until June 2003. The final result includes ten tracks of the finest brutal US Death Metal plus intro and interlude.Quelle: http://www.inmostdense.de/ www

Unfold - Cover
"Unfold" ist auch schon wieder nen Tick älter, aufgenommen wurde die Scheibe bereits im Juni 2003. Aber irgendwie habe ich ein wenig länger gebraucht, bis ich darauf aufmerksam wurde.
