Band:

Inhume

BiografieAutumn 1994, the immense and lugubrious INHUME was exhumed from the grave when five retarded minds stuck their tumor heads together with the intention to play gory grindcore. Influenced by Carcass, Napalm Death and Terrorizer, with lyrics inspired by Carcass and Autopsy. After a while INHUME started to (de)compose their own brutal, grinding and fast songs. In October/November ?95 INHUME recorded their first demo containing 10 repugnant vomit stains. During this recording a sixth member joined INHUME and the missing limb was found?? The first demo got great reviews in various underground magazines and the band also did some inhuman gigs with bands like: Dead Infection, Haemorrhage, Agathocles, C.S.S.O., Nyctophobic, Malignant Tumour, Rot, Benediction, Cradle of Filth(?), Ancient Rites, Altar, Pentacle and so on.

In ?96 INHUME recorded a live split tape with Suppository (Hol.) at the "Grind your Mind ´96" festival which is not available anymore, and a second split tape "Enjoying the Violence ?" was released in april ?97 with Mundo de Mierda (Eq.) by Solo Ruido Records in Equador.

Then in may ?97 INHUME recorded their second demo at the Grindcave rehearsal room with Erwin "Lets get Mangled" Hermsen.
This brutal, fast, gore and grind second demo is still (that´s right) available. Only a few copies are left!!!!

In November 1997 Roel (Drums) and Richard (Guitar) decided to leave the band just before a ten day tour in December with Deranged (Swe.) and Vomitory (Swe) and the recording for several new 7" releases.

A few months later new missing Limbs had been found in Harold/guitar & Michiel/Drums, but after just a rehearsal or two Michiel decided to focus on his own band NEE and quit Inhume. At the beginning of ´99 Eric de Windt from Sinister joined on Drums but in August of that year he as well left the band and now we are back with our original drummer Roel!

There are some plans of releasing several split 7", and the first one we did is a BLOOD/INHUME Split 7" containing three remixed* tracks of the second demo which is available as of may 1998. (* because at that time we did not have a drummer to record some new stuff)

In November of 1999 we started recording our first CD for Bones Brigade Distr. & Prod. Again everything from recording /mixing /mastering /cd-cover etc. was done by ourselves together with Erwin Hermsen (Mangled), This CD called "Decomposing from Inside" has been released April 2000 and we have gotten some really awesome reviews, hopefully we will finally get to go on a small tour sometime after 7,5 years of Inhume!

In 2001 we recorded a 4 track promo for Osmose Productions incl. a cover of Regurgitate´s "Genital Cancer" for the Regurgitate Tribute "Comeback of Goregods"on Bizarre Leprous Productions. We recorded with Berthus Westerhuis at "Frankie´s recording kitchen" and it is a live studio recording.

In autumn 2002 we started recording our second album which hopefully will be released early 2003, this time we signed to Osmose productions.
The16 tracks on "In for the Kil" even blast "Decomposing from Inside" to shreds!!!

Chaos, Dissection, Order - Cover
Von Weiterentwicklung zu sprechen, verbietet sich im Zusammenhang mit INHUME beinahe, von Kompromissen in Sachen Härte völlig.
In For The Kill - Cover
INHUME treiben schon seit längerem ihr Unwesen im Underground, haben aber nach ihrer 2000er "Decomposing From Inside" eine längere Pause eingelegt, jedenfalls was die Veröffentlichungen angeht.
