Band:

Fleshgrind

BiografieMarch of 1993 saw the birth of Fleshgrind. Formed by guitarist/vocalist Rich Lipscomb and drummer Dave Barbolla, they needed another guitarist and a bass player to complete their incarnation. Steve Murray was recruited for guitar and Casey Ryba for bass. Fleshgrind then entered Wave Digital Studios with Brian Griffin in November of 1993 to record their now infamous demo "Holy Pedophile". As a reward to their non-stop self promotion and great work ethic, "Holy Pedophile" earned Fleshgrind a spot in the elite underground, going on to sell over 2500 copies. Their next demo "Sorrow Breeds Hatred... Bleed on Me" recorded in April of 1995 with Brian Griffin, this time at QualiTone studios went on to sell 1500 copies and attained the band a one album deal with Pulverizer Records.
-----------------------------------------
"Destined For Defilement", which came out in late August of 1997, was also recorded with Brian Griffin at QualiTone studios. "Destined…" featured 9 brand-new songs of Fleshgrind style brutality, no songs re-recorded from the demos. And also original bass player Casey Ryba was replaced with Ray Vazquez. Although on a label, Fleshgrind still believed in non-stop self-promotion, and having somebody else on board to help was great. Eventually, due to personal problems, Pulverizer Records was no longer able to press the CD so Fleshgrind took it upon themselves to press the disc with Pulverizer’s blessings.
-----------------------------------------
Soon after the release of "Destined…", Ray Vasquez decided to leave the band. Not much later, Dave Barbolla was asked to leave for personal reasons. Rich and Steve wasted no time in acquiring new bassist James Genenz from Avernus and new drummer Alan Collado from Euphoric Evisceration and promptly proceeded to hit the road in support of "Destined…". During this time the band, refreshed with new members, solidified really well and began composing new material, which is just as catchy as classic Fleshgrind with more chaotic and technical elements. Fleshgrind welcomes and embraces these changes and are confident.
-----------------------------------------
Fleshgrind has played over 250 shows playing with the likes of: Broken Hope, Dying Fetus, Internal Bleeding, Malevolent Creation, Six Feet Under, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, Deeds of Flesh, and tons and tons more. They have played in 15 states, completed a 5 week long US tour with Mortician, have toured Canada with Suffocation, and a completed a 2 week European Tour with Germany´s Resurrected and Coercion from Sweden.
-----------------------------------------
In 2000 the band signed with Olympic Records and released its second full length CD "The Seeds of Abysmal Torment" on November 14, 2000. Unfortunately, the band was unable to tour or perform many shows in support of "Seeds" as vocalist Rich Lipscomb severly broke his leg just before the CD´s release and required three surgeries and almost 18 months of time to recooperate from his injury. Just as Rich had recovered and the band was ready to get back on its feet (no pun intended) the band was hit with another roadblock in May of 2002 when drummer Alan Collado left the band. Fleshgrind immediately hooked up with former Gorgasm skinsman Derek "El Horrifico" Hoffman and started working on new material. Fleshgrind are finally finished writing and recording their third studio album "Murder Without End" to be released on August 26th, 2003, with subsequent tours to follow!Quelle: http://www.fleshgrind.comDiscografie2003 "Murder Without End" 3rd album

Murder Without End - Cover
Kurz mit den Fingerchen die Klavier-Tasten gedrückt, um den Hörer in Sicherheit zu wiegen, um ihm dann mittels Titelstück und Fäusten volles Brett in Fresse und Magen gleichzeitig zu kloppen.
