Formed in the year 2000 under the monicker Devils Whorehouse by Morgan from Marduk, and after releasing the highly acclaimed albums "Revelation Unorthodox" and "Blood & Ashes" as well as the eps, "Howling" and "Werewolf", the band fell its time to change name as the music and philosophy behind the orchestra has outgrown its name. The end of one world and the birth of another. The band now continues under the name Death Wolf symbolising the strenght,dedication and will shown in its creations. The band just finished the recording of its upcoming album filled with Northern end themes and death hymns. Cold steel over the worlds throat. More info regarding its imminent release will follow shortly.. The band can also proudly announce its first live apperance which will be taking place in June at the Wave-Gotik Treffen in Leipzig, Germany on the 12th of June. Devils Whorehouse was formed by B.War and Morgan of Marduk together with 2 local musicians namely Zwedda and Hrafn in january 2000. They started out as a Misfits/Samhain cover band,but just after 2 rehearsals the band started to do their own material in the same vein as the above mentioned bands. Also inspired by horror movies.realizations and glorifications of the imminent approach of death and disreputable monsters. The band entered the studio in April 2000 recording a mini album with 4 tunes and also as a bonus they recorded 4 cover songs ( 2 Misfits and 2 Samhain tracks) The mini album " Howling" was released on Halloween 2000,at the same day the band also did their first live apperance which was followed by another one on Halloween 2001. The band is currently working on new material for a fullenght album. Devils Whorehouse doesn´t claim to be the most original band but that isn´t the purpose of this band Death rock,Horror rock, call it what you like.
