BiografieYyrkoon was formed in 1995. Native of France, the band began to play melodic death/black metal. Quickly they decided to record a demo tape, and one year later they´ve done "Oath, Obscure, Occult...". This stuff allowed them to enter underground metal world and to find a deal for a first album with the label VMI.

In 1998 their debut album called "Oniric Transition" get out. After little problems with VMI, Yyrkoon prefered to record again a new mini-CD to find another deal and management. It´s done in 2000, with a 2 songs CD titled "Forgotten Past", the band found a new deal with a very young label; Anvil Corp.

"Dying Sun" , their second album, is a better product than precedent. Pro-cover and good production/promotion in the whole. That bring to the label a foreign distribution.

It´s in november 2003 that´s Yyrkoon decide to move in Denmark at Hansen Studios to record their third album "Occult Medicine" . When they came back with the new stuff, they sent a master copy to several labels, and found a good deal with the famous french label "Osmose Productions" a chance for the band to evolve again to a something better !! "Occult medicine" should be out on september 2004. Yyrkoon is proud to work Osmose Productions, and is preparing the fourth album...
