Band:

Whiskey Ritual

BiografieThe project Whiskey Ritual was born in 2008 from an idea of Dorian Bones (vocals) and Plague (bass) to create an old school black metal band in the vein of Venom, the first Bathory and Hellhammer. It was their precise intention to give birth to something rotten, dirty and violent, with no compromises. Then Asher (drums, member of Forgotten Tomb) and A. (guitars, also member of Forgotten Tomb) joined the band.

After the release of a demo in 2009 called "Black'n'Roll" the band immediately started working on new material, which will end up in the first full length "In Goat we Trust", released in June 2010 for the cult Italian label Lo-Fi Creatures.

The album obtained a good success, both from the public as from the critics, and the track "One Million" offered a guest appearance by Apollyon (frontman of Aura Noir and bass player of the cult Norwegian band Immortal).

2011 was a very productive year for the band that found itself sharing stages with the big names of the international underground metal scene: Aura Noir, Impaled Nazarene, Kvelertak, Malfeitor, Belphegor, Isole, Nocturnal Depression, Forgotten Tomb. In the same period a split with Forgotten Tomb was released - a tribute to the King of punk rock GG Allin.

Shortly after the band finished the recordings for their second album "NARCONOMICON", which was released on September 22th on Lo-Fi Creatures in collaboration with Avantgarde Music and Agonia Records.Quelle: http://www.sureshotworx.de/index.php?pg=2113Discografie2009 - Black'n'Roll (EP)
