Band:

Temple Of Baal

Biografie

In their 15 years-long career, marked by 3 full lengths and numerous split releases, highly respected French coven Temple Of Baal have evolved from a primitive Black/Thrash to an uncompromising Black/Death Metal of utmost brutality. With Verses Of Fire, Temple Of Baal are back with a stellar fourth album that combines both their relentless violent face with the darkest atmospheres and most epic riffs of their highly acclaimed last split CD The Vision Of Fading Mankind.

"Verses Of Fire's" sound has been carefully manufactured by Andrew Guillotin in Hybreed Studios. Focusing on a more organic side thanks to the use of tube amps and natural drums, the production allows the natural old-school feeling of the band to shine through the whole album. Through ten tracks, lasting about one hour, the band explores a wide spectre of extreme metal: from raging blast beats and thrashing riffs, though haunted mid tempo vibes, and up to the point of band's primal influence - the sinister sounds of early 90's Black/Death metal.

Reviews

Lightslaying Rituals - Cover
2003 machten die Franzosen eine gar schröckliche Scheibe, drei Splits und eine CD weiter kommt jetzt die insgesamt dritte Full-Length.
Servants Of The Beast - Cover
"TEMPLE OF BAAL verbreitet die Werte Satans" steht in der Biographie. Die zweite Scheibe der Franzosen lässt also nur eine Schlussfolgerung zu: Satan ist taub!
