Band:

State Of Destruction

(Underdog)
BiografieState Of Destruction was formed in 2004 when Jörg Kockert replied on an internet announcement of Robin Richter who was searching musicians for a melodic death metal project. After the first meetings Jörg left his previous band PsYbleed to focus exclusivly on State Of Destruction. The band lineup was still incomplete and lacked of a vocalist, a bass player and a second guitar player. In the beginning of 2005 Moritz Kölling (Bass) and Tjark Wattenberg (Guitar) joined State Of Destruction but still a vocalist was missing. Then, finally in April 2005, the perfect voice was found, Stefan Skerra (Vocals) joined State Of Destruction and completed the band lineup.

In the end of 2005 Moritz Kölling decided to leave the band to concentrate on his studies, a new bass player had to be found. The choice felt on Marvin Adamek (Bass) who joined the band in early 2006. The first EP was released soon, featuring an intro plus State Of Destructions debut song "Unholy Enemy". In the end of 2006 the first album Cleaning Out This World was released, it featured 8 tracks and was recorded at Dreamlake Studios. In the mid of 2007, State Of Destruction started the recordings for their first professionally produced album Global Punishment which was officially produced by Joerg Friede from Dreamlake Studios. After finishing the recordings for their new album the band split with Marvin Adamek (Bass) in the beginning of 2008. Marvin was replaced by Sebastian Storch (Bass), who joined the Band in January 2008.

Global Punishment - Cover
STATE OF DESTRUCTION.
