BiografieSEASONS OF THE WOLF, Progressive, Gothic, New Age Metal or as our German friends have called it: "Psycho-Hippie-Doom-Metal".



SOTW was formed in Bradenton, Florida, USA in October 1988 by Guitarist/Producer - Barry "Skully" Waddell, Vocalist - Wes Edward Waddell, and Keyboard/Engineer - Dennis "Dr. Samuria" Ristow. Current line-up includes Mark Empire on drums and Bill Bois on bass guitar.



SOTW owns and operates Level-D-Green Recording Studio and Independent Record Label "Earth Mother Music" Barry AKA "Skully", Wes Waddell and Dennis Ristow write, arrange, design and produce all SOTW product.



7 albums recorded. 2 released local Tampa Bay Are only. 4 Albums released internationally and available. Album 7 in production for release in 2012.



SOTW DVD music video rockumentary still in production.



13 music videos produced and released - "October Moon", "Victim Of Darkness", "Lost In Hell", "Abandoned City", "Interstellar", "Magnetic Star", "Transmission", "Quilex", "Starstruck", "Nocturnal Revelation", Wings Of Doom, "In The Shadows", "Liar" - 3 SOTW videos have aried on national U.S.A TV network FUSE TV - Other videos have aired on USA cable networks in Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, Pittsburgh, Chicago, and other various Metal programs in Europe.



3 Tribute albums - IRON MAIDEN "Children Of The Damned" - QUEEN "The Attack Of The Dragons" - and BLACK SABBATH "Dehumanized Witch" a DIO Years tribute.



6 Compilation releases from various record labels - Hardknocks Records "Mega Xposure" vol#1, Worldwide Recording Limited Vol #2, Delinquent Records "The Pink & The Black" Goth and Glam collection, Transcending The Mundane #13, Metal Crusade Vol #4, Metal-Rules.com Vol #1.



SOTW has been featured in over 300 Metal fanzines and magazines worldwide since 1995.



SOTW received airplay on over 500 college radio programs in the USA, Canada, and Europe during two 8 weeks radio marketing campaigns. Fall 1998 and fall 1999. Over 70 of the college radio stations in the USA placed various SOTW songs in top ten charts with heavy rotation during that time period.



SOTW has sold over 30,000 units Independently on various formats (Cassette tapes, CD's, and Vinyl ) around the world with no outside involvement from a major record label. SOTW is Totally Independent Worldwide.



SOTW has performed live shows throughout the west coast of Florida for over 10 years. Mostly in the Sarasota, Bradenton, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Ft. Myers, Ocala, Lakeland, Gainesville and Orlando areas. One small tour in 2006 in the New England States.



SOTW currently works with 6 Independent Horror & Sci-Fi Filmmakers. Brimstone Media Productions, Pipedreams Entertainment, Falcon Videos, F&C Productions, Tri-Toad Productions and Helltimate Studios. Several SOTW songs are featured in the soundtracks of film titles "The Seekers" , Alien Conspiracy Series "Time Enough", "Betrayal", "Twisted Illusions2", "Goregoyles", "Underbelly" , Evil Ever After" and "Blood Stained Bride" Many of these obscure indie films are still available through varios internet distributors.



SOTW's Skully and Dr. Samurai also helps produce other bands in the recording studio and promotes underground Independent bands around the world by networking product and trading useful contact information. SOTW studio rehearsal stage called Junkyard Rehearsal Studio can be rented out by other bands in need of writing, rehearsal, video production, and auditions.
