BiografieIn december 2002 Toni(Lötjönen) decided to form a Slayer cover-band with his band mate Simo. Toni asked Jori if he wanted to take on the drums and of course Jori said yes. While Toni was trying to find a guy to play bass in the band, he tought the band should start making own songs, instead of covering Slayer. So in the first rehearsal there were two songs almost ready, one by Toni, one by Simo, but they were never finished.

Simo left the band very soon, and Nailgunner (at the time still nameless) consisted only of two players. Two new songs were made, "Beaten Senseless" and "Let´s Die" About at the same time, Juha was recruited to the band. More songs were made, "I will fucking kill you", "All Life Ends" etc. These three fine young men trained for several months and then decided to get a singer. Toni Huhtiniemi wasn´t a singer, but he still wanted to join the band and Nailgunner welcomed him to their bloody ranks. A little bit later Sami joined in and the band had become fully operational.

In late january 2004, before their first demo had been unleashed, Nailgunner decided to leave the poserous death -influences out of their music and concentrate purely on aggressive and pounding thrash metal. The finnish scene was filled to the edges with deathrash bands and lacked the bands doing the thing in the style of the old guys. Nailgunner had become too fast to be dead and gave itself a goal to become THE thrash metal band in finland by kicking some serious poser ass.
