BiografieWe are a musical conduit for a great and strong universal being called Magna.

Magna holds the ultimate power of wisdom, tolerance, love, compassion and peace.
However Magna also possesses the force of pure aggression (Synoré). Aggression that stems from insecurity, powerlessness and illness we call false aggression.

Pure aggression (Synoré) shall be implemented against those who are in touch with any form or Magna, but reject its goals to pursue a path of personal power, greed and evil as well as those who are threatening and destructive to the universe.
After drummer Bionic and guitarist D. left their former band they hooked up with guitarist Tom to work on some new songs and establish a ground base for their new band; MagnaCult. Vocalist Sebastiaan and bassist Spit were added to the line-up and new songs came popping up and began to get shape and form the unique sound of MagnaCult.

From the start the band decided to show their cult to the world with the release of a full length album. Since some of us come from well established metal bands in the music scene we thought this would be the best thing to do. Just show them what we sound like, create a buzz in the scene and then give them the opportunity to see us play live, says guitarist D..

The mixing and production will be in the hands of Jochem Jacobs, known for his excellent work with Textures as producer, song writer and mixer and producer Bouke Visser. The mixing will take place at their studio Split Second Sound. When we were thinking of a producer Jochem was the first person that came in our minds. We all like the sound he made for Textures and the other stuff he did, adds guitarist Tom regarding the album recordings. We knew he would be the one that could give us the sound that we are looking for, continues drummer Bionic. D. already knew he wanted to work with Jochem as producer; I already had contact with him regarding the production of my former bands album, so I just sent him some mp3s of MagnaCult and he was immediately very excited about working with us.

Unfortunately the band members cannot practice that much as a 5-piece since two of them also play in other bands and the members live in various cities on the west side of Holland. When we have some new stuff finished we always record it and I mix it a bit and post it online and everybody just downloads the songs and adds his riffs or lyrics, says Tom. Ok, its not the easiest way but it works for us. And when we are together we kick-ass since were that hungry to hear our songs as a whole band! says bassist Spit. I mostly record the singing at home and post the songs online for the rest to download, comments singer Sebastiaan. Most of the lyrics I write are about what goes on in my life, the world and of course the whole idea behind MagnaCult. The song Synoré is about the Cult of Magna, the unity of us as a band, a group, 5 friends who share the same musical interests.

With Tom and D. thrashing on the guitars, bassist Spit delivering the low-end bass, the overwhelming drum-rolls pounded by drummer Bionic and the talented voice of MagnaCult given to you with brutal, melodic and in-your-face singing by Sebastiaan, this band will make their mark and is sure to be noticed in the music scene.
