BiografieLooking for something to sink your teeth in ? Take a steamin' Hammond, a pulsating bass guitar, firy screaming wah wah attacks, pounding drums, crunchy guitar and add a voice that has Rock'n Roll in its very breath. A cocktail of passion, power and sheer energy ranging from mid-paced groovers to up-tempo rockers served by Men who know their business.



At the end of 2000 the time had come, six Rock'n Roll junkies from Hamburg entered the rehearsal Bunker and ignitet the spark. Kickhunter was born. The next logical step was to record the result at the band's own Shockhouse Studio (Markus & Karsten) to conserve the spontanious power of the songs for eternity. Kick-ass Rock´n´Roll, melody, power straight ahead rocking your block: "Hearts & Bones”, produced by Markus Großkopf and Stefan Aurel.



Just in time for the release the first big tour in June 2003:

Kickhunter opened the show for DEEP PURPLE and LYNYRD SKYNYRD. In 7 days in front of an audience of more than 40.000 people.

More tour followed among others like Scandinavia etc.



2005: The big tour through Portugal as support for the portugiese topact ARYA.Followed by the biggest biker event of the world the HARLEY-DAYS in Hamburg. KICKHUNTER acted there together with M3 (Ex-Whitesnake) and their Rock´n´ Roll collegues from DOOM FOX and the QUIREBOYS in front of more than 10000 bikers.



In that time 2005/2006 Markus has been almost steady on tour with his main band HELLOWEEN, so all live activities on the KICKHUNTER bass was handled by MASTERPLANS Jan S. Eckert and Jens Becker of GRAVE DIGGER. No bad choice gentleman.



In the end of 2006 time was right and material got finished to enter the studio for recording the next coup.



2007 - Ready to go: The new album is here! Playtime: 54 Minutes - 10 tracks! Albumtitle: "LITTLE MONSTERS”! The video for the first single "Heaven Knows” is already in the can (made by Mediabasis).
