Band:

Damnations Hammer

BiografieDamnations Hammer was formed by guitarist/vocalist Tim Preston as a homage to the avant garde metal of the 1980's, the band is completed by bassist Andy Whitehead and drummer Steve Leach. Taking influences from the likes of Celtic Frost and Candlemass the vision of the band has always been to create dark, doom laden metal incorporating surreal atmospherics. In 2009 the band recorded and self-released a demo EP titled Serpent's Wrath - limited to 100 copies the CD has since sold out.

Towards the end of 2011 the band invested in their own home studio to write and record their debut album. Titled Disciples of the Hex the album was again another self-released effort which was made available through the band's website in May of 2012.

In September of 2012 Damnations Hammer signed to Sweden’s I Hate Records for an official release of Disciples of the Hex. Utilizing the skills of producer Mark Mynett to mix and master the effort the I Hate Record's version of the album features re-recorded bass lines, additional guitar solos and a complete re-mix which triumphs over the original.Quelle: http://www.damnationshammer.co.uk/band/index.htmlDiscografie2009 - Serpent's Wrath (Demo)
