Drawing influences from old horror flicks, historic literature and the dark side of the human psyche, Chaosweaver's music is a combination of in-your-face guitar riffs, thundering beats, roaring vocals, majestic soundscapes and catchy melodies, but with a sinister twist. The blend is lethal.

The band was called upon by the dark forces of evil to unleash the unspeakable horrors on humanity in 2004. Kole, a veteran of the Finnish metal scene, started thinking about forming a new ensemble. He had a vision, the required skills and a bunch of razor sharp guitar riffs. Several band members came and went, new songs were written constantly. Finally, in May 2006, the band entered the studio for the first time, as they recorded two tracks in an enigmatic setting in the middle of the woods. The first effort Weaving the Chaos included the tracks Angel and Flaming Rain.

In the following few months the two songs were listened to over 25 000 times on the band's Myspace site, and played frequently on the radio worldwide. The feedback, both among media and the general public, was very positive.

However, Chaosweaver were not resting on their laurels, but instead working hard on sharpening their sound even more. As the year 2007 was approaching, the second Chaosweaver output, a three song demo entitled Cult of the Buried Serpent, was set loose. The response was once again overwhelming.

In October 2007 Chaosweaver signed a recording contract with a fresh Finnish label Shadow World Records. The band entered Studio Perkele in November to capture the debut full-length on hard disc. Chaosweaver is confident that 2008 will be the year when this Finnish sixsome will become a primary choise for many when looking for sharp, bombastic and ultimately very deadly music.
