founded in 1998 with the goal to deliver no less than kick-ass death metal.

after a short but successful local career, severe obstacles started to surface... so far, one former member has been admitted to severe psychiatric care while others have moved to less demanding styles of music and/or liver abuse.

the current lineup includes founding members michael and max fingernagel on lead guitar and drums, alex schmid on bass guitar, stefan watzger on lead guitar and florian greiter on vocals.

though the early lineup problems prevented brewed from participating in the live scene for some years, the band was kept going under the surface until, in early 2006, things got rolling again with the entry of new frontman florian greiter and second lead guitarist stefan watzger. stefans guitar skills and florians distinct vocal style being the missing pieces in brewed & canned's set up, the band started picking up speed again.

a new 4-song ep named "diseased" has been recorded on sept. 11th 07 and self-released with cover artwork done by the legendary ralph manfreda. keep a sharp look out for this masterpiece of the austrian underground metal scene at our gigs or contact us for information on how to obtain your copy.
