BiografieCoste Apetrea started his career in 1972 with Samla Mammas Manna wich at that time was : Lars Holmer/Keyb, Lars Krantz/ Bass and Hans Bruniusson/ Drums, Coste/ GuitarThey recorded 3 albums during the 4 years to come: "Måltid", "Klossa Knapitatet" and "Snorungarnas Symphony".



1976 Coste, Lars Holmer, Ulf Wallander, Kalle Eriksson and Bill Öhrström formed the World music band : "Ramlösa Kvällar" recorded the album "Ramlösa Kvällar" for Silence Records.



Coste left Samla 1976 and went to Finland to record with Jim Pembroke, they did Jims Album : "Corporal Cauliflowers"During this period Coste had a great Jam gig with finish Guitarist Jukka Tolonen in Helsinki at the Tavastia Club, it was the beginning of a seven years collaboration between the two Guitarists.Together they made several band records and 2 Acoustic duo records.Played places like The Montreaux Jazzfestival (can be heard on the live at Montreaux Album fom 1978) and "Roskilde Rock Festival etc etcDuring this time (1977) Coste recorded his first Solo album "Nyspolat" for MNW records.



1983 Coste left Jukka and started his own Studio and a collaboration with the Swedish Pop-Wizard Ola Håkansson at Sonet Records.During this period Coste got into producing pop/rock music and writing music for Media (Film/TV/Radio).



1986 he formed "Synchro Sound Music" with Anders Henriksson, a well known Swedish producer/songwriter. together they ran a big Studio in the heart of Sundbyberg/Stockholm and did nameless amounts of TV/Radio/Film/Recordings and just about anything you can do with Sound.



1990 Samla Mammas Manna reunited with : Lars Holmer, Lars Krantz, Hans Bruniusson, Coste and played together until Nov 1999, recorded the album "Kaka" and then Hans Bruniusson left after a lot of fuzz and Samla Mammas Manna Found a new drummer Tatsuya Yoshida who still is in the Band today Feb 2006.



1990 Coste formed The Power Trio with Max Åhman/ Guitar/Bass and Peter Eyre Drums.The Band is into Heavy blues based Rock just exploring the fun of it, no intelectual meaning what so ever!



1996 Coste & Max Ahman recorded acoustic record "Lonely Brains".



2002 Samla was joined by creative drummer Tasuya Yoshida from Tokyo who is the leader of the avant-rock band; "Ruins" The same year Samla Mammas Manna with new Line up recorded special Japanese edition "Dear Mama", a live recording from Uppsala adding some extra cuts from a Live Improvisation with Lars H and Coste together with "The Ruins"( High Energy).
