BiografieASHENT was born in 2001 and currently consists of:


GIAN (bass and backing vocals),

PAOLO (keyboards),

ONOFRIO (guitars),

THOMAS (guitars),

MAX ZHENA (vocals),

DAVIDE (drums).





The average age of the group is 25 years.



In the last two years, the band has undergone several changes of line up and name, and it has worked very hard trying to forge a personal style which synthesizes the different musical influences and backgrounds of the various members.



Remaining true to standard musical structures, their work is born from a blending of progressive metal and the particular form of thrash developed in recent years with riffs characterised by vigour and changes of tempo. There is also an influence from symphonic metal in the use of the keyboards derived from symphonic black. The themes developed in the lyrics reveal the personal reflections of the band, reflections on the human condition and the future prospect for mankind.



This is brought to fruition in the four tracks of their first demo CD which bears their name. The CD, which they produced themselves, was recorded during the second part of February 2003 at the famous New Sin Studio in Loria (TV) where the veteran Luigi Stefanini supervised recording and mastering.

With rave reviews, the critics have given the band’s work a fantastic reception. Currently, the band is continuing to create further compositions and is planning more live events.
