BiografieAre a 6 piece band from Kildare and Dublin in Ireland ,featuring Guitar ,Banjo ,Tin Whistle ,Accordion ,Drums ,Bass and Vocals.
Influenced by The Clash,The Ramones,The Pogues and Rancid ,their music is a manic mix of traditional Irish music fused with Punk Rock.
To date the band have released two albums the self- titled "BLOOD OR WHISKEY" (1999 ) and "NO TIME TO EXPLAIN".( 2002)
The band are currently busy mixing tracks for their 3rd Album provisionally titled "Sticks And Stones" and are talking to a number of interested labels worldwide with a view to releasing it in 2004.

2003 was a busy year for the band ,after a few line up changes they completed a two week tour of england in June which finished at the Holidays In The Sun Festival in Morecambe http://www.holidaysinthesun.net where they shared the stage with headliners Shane McGowan and the Popes.
The highlight of that tour was Topper Headon The legendary Clash drummer turning up at the Canterbury gig and playing drums on " Whiteman In The Hammersmith Palais " for the Encore.
Blood or Whiskey have recorded "Whiteman" for release on a tribute album to the late great Joe Strummer (RIP)
In october and november 2003 Blood or Whiskey hit Europe for 30 dates in Belgium ,Holland ,Switzerland ,Germany ,Italy and Austria

April 2004 saw the band on the East Coast of America for a short 10 day tour with The Dropkick Murphys , Blood For Blood, Murphys Law ,Kings Of Nuthin, The Ducky Boys ,DarkBuster, Only Crime,The Pub Crawlers and The Curses
Previously Blood Or Whiskey have shared the stage with Bad Manners, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Stranglers, The Beat, Stiff Little Fingers, Snuff, Shane McGowan,The Real Mckenzies, Goldblade and many more.
The Blood or Whiskey 2004 European tour begins in Glasgow on June 22nd with The Dropkick Murphys ,The Bones and Red Alert, then onto Portsmouth, Paris, Belgium, Holland ,Germany, Luxembourg and Austria.
Blood Or Whiskey will be tearing up a town and a venue near you soon so lace up your boots, grab your partner by the neck and get ready to Rumble....
