BiografieFrom January 1995 on, Eminence has been moving along the obligatory path to success. Stemming from the local scene of Belo Horizonte, state capital of Minas Gerais, most band members had been riding underground ways until then. Owing to its line-up, Eminence has caught the attention of media and audience in each country played in. Besides guitarist and band founder Alan Wallace, Eminence features drummer André Márcio (ex-OVERDOSE) and bassist Jairo Guedz (ex guitarist and founder of SEPULTURA). After several concerts throughout the state and owing to a large number of contacts in Brazil as well as abroad, the band got qualified to participate in top countrywide music contest Skol Rock. Representatives from MTV, Warner Music and major show business magazines and newspapers gave the band the first place in the state and third in the national key ranking, which was of great impact on their career progress. That is, considering the odds for a heavy and aggressive band among the majority of Pop, Blues and Rock´n´roll bands that usually get special attention from the mass media in Brazil. Making independent productions and promotion coupled to a lot of material give-away, the band toured in Holland and Belgium between September and December ´98, getting a lot of positive reviews. Back home, a new album - "Chaotic System" - was created, released and distributed. Working hard on promotion and touring, playing at festivals and supporting foreign bands, Eminence´s work kept on evolving and captured worldwide attention. Soon, a license agreement was signed with Diamond Records to distribute "Chaotic System" in over 15 European countries. Up till now, Eminence had the opportunity to share the bill with the greatest: Mercyful Fate, God Dethroned, Sepultura, Metallica, Motorhead, Immolation, Ministry and many others.
