Band:

The Punkles

BiografieJust imagine The Beatles were formed in New York in 1977...
well -imagine no longer.........

The Punkles are still glad the Ramones chose "California Sun" instead of "Love Me Do" as a cover version way back then. So in fact Hamburg St. Pauli´s "Fast Four" were the first to play Beatles songs in a 1977 Punk-Rock style.
After meeting their -meanwhile notorious- manager Malcolm McEpstein, they recorded their first album the same year they met-in 1998, and force screaming crowds to Twist & Pogo ever since - even at the famous "Cavern Club" in Liverpool where they played two raving shows in 1999.
In May 2002 The Punkles released their 2nd Album "Punk!" which is selling pretty well allover the world.
By the end of 2002 the band will start working on their "Revolver" inspired third album "Pistol".

Reviews

Pistol - Cover
Sie nennen sich die "Fast Four", kommen nicht aus Liverpool, aber immerhin aus Hamburg und widmen sich auf ihrer neuen Scheibe der Spät- und Endphase der Beatles.
