Band:

Lowdown

BiografieThese five young men from Stavanger, collectively known as Lowdown, originally started out as a studio project between their two guitar players, but have developed into one of Norways most promising metal bands.

Despite their nationality and the fact that they like to paint their faces, they are not black metal. Inspired by bands such as Pantera, Meshuggah, Deftones, Slayer, Machine Head, Slipknot and Faith No More amongst others, Lowdown play what they like to call hybrid-metal. Fronted by an amazing singer, the band hammer away for almost an hour of intenz, aggressive metal on their amazing debut album “Unknown”. The five-piece definitely manage to bring something fresh to the Norwegian metal scene.

The album was recorded in their hometown, self produced, and mixed by Zet (Ram-Zet). Zet also contributes to the albums great last track “Struggling” with his snarling voice. Before that you can hear ten other smashing tunes that everybody with the love of metal should explore.

Lowdown is an explosion of energy, something they proved at last years Inferno and Quart Festivals. The release of ”Unknown” should convince even more people.Quelle: http://www.sureshotworx.deDiscografieUnknown 2003 www

Neeneenee, das hätte es früher nicht gegeben! Angepinselte Norweger, die nicht "true evil unholy black metal" spielen.
