BRAINSTORM bringen erste Single & Video mit Gastsänger

BRAINSTORM werden am 20. August 2021 ihr neues Album "Wall Of Skulls" der Öffentlichkeit präsentieren. Während bereits das Cover-Artwork enthüllt wurde und der Vorverkauf begann, können wir jetzt laut Info "das neueste Werk und den ersten Album-Happen "Escape The Silence" genießen. Rasende Doublebass-Passagen, kraftvolle Basslinien, groovende Gitarren-Shreds und die kompromisslose sowie klar erkennbare Stimme von Andy B. Franck machen diesen Song zu einer unvergesslichen, hochklassigen, heftigen und lebhaften Hymne.
Wo wir gerade von dem Gesang sprechen, da dürfen wir nicht vergessen zu erwähnen, dass sich ein ganz spezieller Gast mit Gesangs-Spuren auf dem Album verewigen durfte. Zum ersten Mal hat die Band mit Gastsängern gearbeitet. In "Escape The Silence" war dies Peavy Wagner von RAGE.

Peavy kommentiert seinen Beitrag wie folgt: "Ein supergeiler Song mit einem klasse Video, und es ist mir eine Ehre, Teil auf diesem Album sein zu dürfen. Welch ein großartiger Track und eine Hammer-Nummer!"

Wer das neue BRAINSTORM-Album "Wall Of Skulls" hört, spürt sofort, wie stark die Band um Sänger Andy B. Franck vom überzeugenden Vorgängerwerk "Midnight Ghost" (2018) profitiert hat. "Midnight Ghost" war für die süddeutschen Power Metaller eine musikalische Zäsur, mit der sich die Bandmitglieder auf ein noch höheres Qualitätslevel gehievt und neue künstlerische Horizonte erschlossen haben. "Wir spürten schon bei Veröffentlichung der Scheibe, dass wir das bis dato vielleicht wichtigste Werk der BRAINSTORM-Historie in den Händen halten", erklärt Franck. 
Genau an dieser Stelle knüpft "Wall Of Skulls" nun an und geht konzeptionell sogar noch einen ganzen Schritt weiter. Franck spricht vor einer "fast schon unheimlichen Energie, die im Proberaum beim Entstehen der Songs geherrscht hat. In Summe haben wir diesmal so viele kraftvolle und schnelle Nummern wie noch nie auf ein Album gepackt. Das alles passierte ohne Kalkül oder vorherige Planung, sondern auf ganz natürliche Weise. Wir haben einfach kompromisslos an den Songs gearbeitet und einen eingeschlagenen Kurs nie auf halber Strecke abgebrochen. "Wall Of Skulls" ist somit mitnichten "Midnight Ghost 2.0", sondern eine erneute, deutlich erkennbare Weiterentwicklung.""

BRAINSTORM is going to release their new album "Wall Of Skulls" on August 20th, 2021. While cover artwork has been revealed and pre-sale already started, we all are as per info "about to see the newest creation and first album-appetizer called "Escape The Silence". Tenacious double-bass drums and powering bass lines, groovy guitar shreds and the uncompromising and recognizable voice of Andy B. Franck make this song a memorable top-notch and hard-hitting vigorous hymn.
But talking about the singer, we should note that a very special guest was able to lay down some lines on the mic for this song. For the first time ever, the band has worked with a guest vocalist who assume a central role in the respective songs. "Escape The Silence" stars RAGE’s legendary Peavy Wagner.

Peavy comments on his contribution: "A outrageously great song with a stunning video. It’s an honour for me  to be part of that album. Such an excellent track and awesome piece of music!"

Listening to the latest BRAINSTORM album "Wall Of Skulls", you immediately realise how much the band surrounding vocalist Andy B. Franck has benefitted from the group’s impressive predecessor offering, "Midnight Ghost" (2018). "Midnight Ghost" was a musical turning point for the power metal act from southern Germany which saw the band members reach an even higher level of quality and broaden their artistic horizon even further. "When we released the recording, we immediately felt that we were holding probably the most important album in BRAINSTORM’s history in our hands", explains Franck.
And that’s precisely the point where "Wall Of Skulls" picks up, taking BRAINSTORM’s musical concept even further. Franck talks of an "almost uncanny energy at the rehearsal room when we wrote the material. We’ve included more powerful and fast-paced numbers than ever before on this album. All that happened totally unintentionally and without a masterplan but in a completely natural way. We simply worked on the songs without compromises and never changed course once we’d embarked on a specific direction. So "Walls Of Skulls" is definitely not "Midnight Ghost 2.0", but another and very obvious step in the evolution of our music.""
