Das holländische Label COLD BLOOD INDUSTRIES gibt es in seiner urspünglichen Form nicht mehr. Der CBI Mailorder bleibt bestehen, ansonsten werden die bisherigen Leute hinter CBI ihre Energien auf das bisherige Sublabel und künftige Zugpferd EBONY TEARS konzentrieren.

Die CBI Crew Henri Sattler, Rogier Bos und Berthus Westerhuis gaben folgendes Statement ab:

"Cold Blood Industries´ main goal was to push and release Dutch extreme bands mainly, because we had the feeling that there was so much quality around here that didn´t get picked up by any label, so we decided to do it.

We now know that this was an extremely difficult task.

The amount of energy we put into it didn´t come back in the results.

This in combination with the current situation in the music industry in general have made us take the decision to stop signing and releasing bands on CBI while our financial situation is still healthy.



The sublabel Ebony Tears (started in the summer of 2003) proved to be a much more succesful idea (for some kind of reason) on which we will now fully concentrate."
