Die Band zum Video: “Hour Of Obstinacy is the second and final video track that we decided to cut from Adverse Portrait. From the moment the clean guitar intro starts, there is an eerie and all-encompassing atmosphere that sets the tone for the rest of the song, but not without some dramatic hooks and transitions to keep things interesting. The video was directed in a way to give the viewer a sense of isolation and the paranoia of being watched. Visually, we borrowed some inspiration from Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow and the Evil Dead movies. Lyrically, it is a lesson about betrayal and retribution in its most primitive form and how one's downfall becomes the inevitable.”
