Völlig überraschend hat gestern Sänger Jeff Martin seinen Ausstieg bei THE TEA PARTY erklärt. Zunächst war die Lage etwas rätselhaft, da der Sänger anscheinend die Nachricht zunächst über Dritte im Tea-Party-Forum hatte verbreiten lassen und später im Interview mit dem kanadischen Webradio www.htzfm.com bestätigt. Schlagzeuger Jeff Burrows bedaurt den Alleingang seines Sängers:

"...this announcement is a shock to both me and Stuart. I know you realized things were a little wrong earlier, but once the doctor told me to rest and take a couple months off I could NEVER imagined something like this would ever happen. Jeff hasn’t tried to contact the band, so I really don’t know how to react to this. I have been genuine in ALL of my interviews and never once lied to anyone. It’s been fun, but... whatever happened has happened. With thanks and always much appreciation to you, your staff, all of the friends, and fans who gathered around your “web-table”, I bid you a very, very sad adieu. J. Burrows"
