"For over three years there has been only an indistinct pulse in the veins of Svartsyn. It is of utter and total significance for both members that the performance of every rehearsal and recording session is done in spirit black and a never ending hunger to create and sharpen a destructive atmosphere and message. For over three years this yearning has been missing.

A few months ago Svartsyn felt the call to channel the depths of the occult once more. Both members desired to create and carve in stone. Straight, natural and close to the core of Black Metal in arrangement and sound – desolation in atmosphere - massive destruction in memorandum.
