Die Macher des KEEP IT TRUE sind wahrlich nicht zu beneiden, denn erneut hat für das 14. Festival eine Band abgesagt: diesmal sind es die Belgier von OSTROGOTH, die ihren Gig am 29./30.04. in Lauda-Königshofen (Tauberfrankenhalle) aufgrund eines Unfalles haben absagen müssen.



Hier das offizielle Bandstatement dazu von Drummer Mario Pauwels:



”It is with great regret and with tremendous pain in the heart, that I am obliged (on behalf of my band) to transfer you the news that our appearance at KIT will be cancelled for this year's edition.

Our original member Whiteshark had a horrible accident at his job place. Whiteshark works as a carpenter and had a grimm meeting with a saw, which cutted his left forearm almost through.

So my friend Oliver, we were again in this new Ostrogoth adventure with (4/5) the original line-up and had an exploding concert in Athens, Greece, which was very promising for the near future. We were already planning to 'break' the stage at KIT.

Whiteshark's revalidation will last at least 6 to 8 months, but we will be there at KIT 2012!”



Die Band wurde daraufhin sofort für KEEP IT TRUE Nummero 15 in 2012 neu eingeladen. Da dass aktuelle Billing schon eine Band mehr als geplant vorsieht, wird es keine Ersatzband geben und somit 20 Bands wie geplant am Start sein.

BROCAS HELM werden nun am Freitag statt am Samstag spielen.
