J.D. Kimball, ehemaliger Leadsänger der Band OMEN, verstarb am 3.Oktober nach einem dreijährigen Krebsleiden. Kenny Powell (OMEN Gitarrist): "I am extremely proud of the work that J.D. and I did together, he was one of the true innovators of the early power metal style. His contributions on the early OMEN records left a lasting impression on the metal music world and still influence fans and musicians alike 20 years later.
