Die Band wechselt zu Steamhammer/SPV! Das im Laufe dieses Jahres erscheinende neue
Album "The Glorious Burden" wird auf dem SPV-Label Steamhammer erscheinen.
SPV-Geschäftsführer Manfred Schütz kommentierte den Vertragsabschluß: "ICED
EARTH ist eine der weltbesten Bands in ihrem Sektor und das Potential ihrer
musikalischen Kreativität ist noch lange nicht ausgeschöpft. ICED EARTH
passt perfekt in unser Repertoire und ich freue mich, dass die Band sich
entschieden hat, ihre erfolgreiche Karriere bei SPV fortzusetzen."
ICED EARTH-Mastermind Jon Schaffer ergänzt: "Well people, the deal is
finally done. ICED EARTH will be calling SPV home for the next few records.
With all of that out of the way I can say now confidently that we will
begin production on the next record in early to mid March. You can expect
´The Glorious Burden´ to be an album based on lots of history and some deep
personal stuff. This will be a very unique and special record, that´s for
sure."

headlinen.
