Die norwegischen Vorzeige-Rotzrocker GLUECIFER haben sich offiziell aufgelöst. Biff Malibu und Raldo Useless sahen sich außerstande Input für ein weiteres Album zu geben.

Captain Poon sagte dazu:" To begin a whole new process of writing and recording, and all the touring that comes with, takes a lot of goodwill. You can’t pretend, it’s gotta be a 110% thing. If you lose that feeling, it makes no sense anymore. Breaking up is the only right decision, even though I’m truly sad about the matter. I think we released our best record so far in 2004, and hanging it up one year later makes no sense to me. But anyway, they lost that certain feeling, and there’s nothing you can do about it, when it’s gone."

Captain Poon wird in einer anderen, noch nicht benannten, Band weitemachen. Danny Young hört Vorlesungen am Musicians Institute in L.A., Stu Manx widmet sich voll seiner neuen Band THE 3856. Wie die musikalische Zukunft von Raldo Useless und Biff Malibu aussieht, ist noch nicht bekannt.
