Hatesphere Tourreport

Konzert vom 21.06.200406.08. (Sunday) - Kerkrade

Howdy folks. We started out in Aarhus at 7 o´clock in the morning, packing our gear. Got picked up by our driver from Czech Republic at 8 and then took the long drive to Kerkrade in Holland. After finishing getting lost in Kerkrade we arrived at Het Muzeikcafe´ in the evening. We unloaded and checked our new merch out and got some killer Chinese food next door.
Well, played the show and got loaded and stoned. Found our hotel and past out.

07.08. (Monday) - Wintherthur

Up early and drove to Wintherthur in Switzerland. 30 degrees - fuckin´ hot. This is the release date of our new album and we had some beer drinking competitions and stuff. Our boys from Cataract played support and they are killer on a stage. Cheers to you guys! The Endstation was a really nice club and the service was killer! We had a blast!

08.08. (Tuesday) - Zürich

We found the Abart Club in Zürich and we went into town and checked e-mails and stuff. We hooked up with Re-Aktor, and we waited for Exodus to show up.
Finally they came. They had some problems with their bus - well it actually burned down... shit! Let´s get one thing straight: The guys from Exodus are not the in the category of quiet people! Totally cool guys - ready to party and fuck shit up. So we get along. We played our show - Gary and Rick checked us out - afterwards Exodus played their show - it was fuckin amazing! Wow! Afterwards we agreed that we are to 2 best bands in the world... ha ha... Cheers!

09.06. (Wednesday) - Hamburg

After been driving all night we arrived at Markthalle in Hamburg.
We just played there a couple of months ago, so good to be back.
Well, can not really remember what we did that day - ate and organised our merch.
Our show was really good - merch sale was good as well.
We did a couple of interviews with some websites... Packed our shit and went to Copenhagen.

10.06. (Thursday) - Copenhagen (Denmark)

Arrived to Nørrebro early in the morning at our buddie Pingels place and slept in his flat for a couple of hours.
Then we had like 8 interviews to take of in the afternoon.
Our only friend from the island, Lars Mayland aka Milano Leif, showed up to do the sound for us. Allways a pleasure to hang out with him.
Our old drummer Morten and his bandmates also showed up - skål drenge.
Well, talking about Morten - Gary Holt introduced us on stage this fine evening in Copenhagen - in Danish. He learned to diz´ Morten in Danish - and he was good at it.
We partied to the early morning with our Danish homeboys and Exodus and their crew.
Thanks to the nice girls and boys at Stengade 30 for talking care of us!

12.06. - Day Off

Well, the first couple of dates with Exodus were a bit stressed and chaotic, so it was nice with a day off.
We took it easy - went to Netto and bought the cheapest booze we could get. Drove to Sweden Rock Festival - got our passes and started drinking - heavy drinking.
We checked out Testament and hooked up with our Testa-buddie Walter and also hooked up with the guys from The Haunted.
Saw a bit of the Slade set as well and caught the Monster Magnet show. Time had come for the Exodus show - at that time I (well I guess we all were) so drunk that I just were standing on the stage with Anders and Per M. and staring at Tom Hunting playing the most amazing thrash metal drums ever. It all ended up with Steve ordered us on stage to do the backing vocals on their version of the AC/DC classic Dirty deeds. That´s the last thing I remember….

13.06. - Oslo (Norway)

Woke up in Oslo the day after - pretty fucked up. Heinz still having vomit in his beard from the night before…ha ha….
Unloading the gear and... well….- all the usually stuff.
No soundcheck today! Hanging out with Julia (ExoMerch lady) in the merch booth - talking about last evenings party.
Not that many people this night in Oslo. Spend the most of the time on the floor at our set trying to make some action. The crowd and the local promoter liked us - so we are looking forward to come back to destroy Oslo.
There was supposed to be a disco afterwards the show but the aircondition broke, so the party continued upstairs in the bar. The DJ was God - drinking while listen to Mötley Crüe, AC/DC and KISS is always a winner.
Afterwards we went to a flat close by and had a few Gin/tonics and past out.

14.06. - Göteborg (Sweden)

The longest day in our lives.
The only good thing about this day and show was the Swedish summer weather
and that bottle of Scotch we had after the show.
But nice to meet Frünk again.
A BIG thanks to the guys from Reclusion and None for the adult
magazines…..and of course for giving us a place to sleep!

The European soccer Championship started a few days ago, and today the Danish
team played their first game. We found a TV and watched the game. 0-0 - just not
good enough!
Now we are on the ferry on the way to Poland to break stuff.
I´ll be back soon with some updates for y´all if Jim Beam doesn´t kill me.
Goodnight.

15.06. - Warschau (Polen)

Good morning Poland!
Shitty weather and shitty shit.
We arrived at the venue - good catering.
Watch some soccer and prepared ourself for our show.
The response from the Polish metalheads were awesome. We had some problems
on stage with some technical stuff - and I had to take a piss after our second song,
and had to leave the stage and go to the nearest sink - Gary tried to stop me in
getting back on stage… well you should have been there to think it´s funny…bla
bla…ha ha…
We met our youngest fan ever - a 10 year old girl who was at the show with his
father - she loved our show! Quite funny that young kids like that are into this
kind of metal - but cool. We gave her a shirt and she was the happiest little girl.
Great party after the show - Julia and I got pretty wasted - well she did - that´s
for sure.
We left the same night towards Prague, Czech Republic.

16.06. - Prague (Czech Republic)

Hangover in Prague.
The other guys in the band went into the center of Prague to do some sightseeing.
Our driver, who lives in Prague, went home to get laid or some like that.
I stayed at the venue to do some bandwork on my laptop - well, I tried… the
hangover was too much for me and I felt asleep on the couch.
Got waked up by some noisy Exodus dudes, and I got up and got some
food from the catering room.
Played our set which was cool once again. Ended up in the Exodus bus and had a
small party while listening to our new album.

17.06. - Osnabrück

Back in good old Germany

We were almost at the venue when one of the tires on our van blew - scheisse.
We had to empty the van to change the tire. So we stood there on the sidewalk
with all our gear, and we decided to do an unplugged show while Michal (our
driver) fixed the tire…ha ha…quite a funny sight.
I hooked up with Frank Albrecht when we got to the venue, and Peter, Anders and
I did an interview with him for RockHard, followed by a photo session for
RockHard as well.
Exodus also had some problems with the tires that day - actually blew 4 on
their trailer, so they were VERY late for the show -they showed up when
we were in the middle of our set. Normally we use Exodus´s cabinets, but not
today…ha ha… We used a line signal and it actually sounded OK. The show was
cool and the crowd was cool as well.
We headed to Aarhus.

18.06. - Aarhus (Denmark)

Back home to do a headlining show in our hometown. Kick ass show for a hour
and a half!
Our friends were there. Lots of beer and Gin/tonic and other good stuff (Read: sex)
Nice to sleep in my own bed...

20.06. - Day Off

Slept all fuckin´ day.
Checked e-mails and did some interviews during the evening.

21.06. - Paris (France)

Next: The looooong drive to Paris.
Nothing good to say about that.

But good to be back at La Locomotive - the French metal heads like our shit and
we really pulled it off again!
Got 2 extra crates of beer for the bus and went to Calais to catch the ferry to the
UK.
