Biografie

The Swedish band IUBAR delivers exciting and untamed music, straight from the heart. Their music has in a very striking way been described as ”high energy psychadelic” by the music journalist Pelle Gustafsson on Sweden´s number one music channel P3. Sounds and arrangements bring alive the rock of the 70’s with obvious hints of lo-fi firmly anchored in the 21st century. An electrified hybrid of tones from Oriental music woven together with influences from Led Zeppelin, Soundtrack of our Lives, The Pretty Things, The Doves, Pink Floyd and The Beatles ”Magical Mystery Tour”. Powerful rhythms mixed with suggestive and captivating moods, best heard and seen when performing live.



IUBAR features the eccentric singer Viktor Björklund, a young and eminent singer with an artistic and literary gift, a natural and strong personality on stage, leaving no one unaffected.
