Biografie
Founded in spring 2006, LAST GRAIN IN THE HOURGLASS is a hybrid of four peoples ideas and visions. Long-time friends Stefan (guitar) and Florian (bass) already played in various bands before, but with the demise of their previous project they found young drummer Max. Soon afterwards Chris who is also playing with Munichs Chaos Metal-Act RAPTURE was taking the vocals duties.Through a clear concept the band quickly wrote 5 songs that were recorded in August 2006 by guitarist Stefan in the bands rehearsal room. Three of them were included on the first demo-record. In September 2006 the band started playing these and some other, new songs live, creating some very own atmosphere on stage. The music of LAST GRAIN IN THE HOURGLASS is not easy to describe, mixing up decent progressive rock with heavy rock outbursts, being one time quiet, the other time heavy and relentless.
