BAND: Hammer

Biografie

The band was formed by Ricchard, after leaving his old band the Red Rush in the summer of 2005, to try and create a pure English style rock and roll group. After a slow selection process, Christian and Arlek have since had a hand in the band. In the beginning the band was called HELLRIDER, but later changed to HAMMER. After some auditions to find a valid singer, Ricchard decided to become the singer of the band himself as well as the bass player. So in the end of summer, when the band finds it’s identity in these three guys, it’s story starts. It does shows in several clubs and pubs in Rome. In October it records it’s demo First gig: blood. On stage, the band kicks asses! In the spring of 2006, the band began to release new songs, and they called this work “Ready Motherfucker”. The band got many shows around Italy during 2006/07 ‘til the opening show at the Uli Jon Roth concert in Rome. After this show the band released a new record called “No Way Out”.
