Biografie

NEED started in 2003 as a heavy-prog band by guitarist Ravaya and in 2004 they recorded their first promo cd entitled ?Avoidinme?. The 39-minute cd got enthusiastic reviews from the press.

Thus was NEED included in three compilation cd?s (Psychic Vol.1 from British Nonego records, Sic Team?s Blessed are Sic Vol. 1 and Let the Asskickin begin Vol.1 by Gangbang Press) which increased NEED?s reputation in the underground.

Shortly after the release of ?Avoidinme? the band?s line-up changed and became what NEED is today.

The change in line-up brought new ideas and enriched NEED´s sound to a heavier edge with some aggressive elements.

Soon after, the band started working on new material for their first full-length album which is entitled ?The Wisdom Machine? while at the same time appeared live in various local clubs and metalfests.

To promote their work the band released a 4-track promo cd with demo versions of songs that are included in their debut album. ?Promo 2006? also got exquisite reviews and opened the way for the release of ?The Wisdom Machine??
