Biografie

Hailing from Chicago, IL, U.S.A., BIBLE OF THE DEVIL is a four-piece rock n’ roll assault squad specializing in brutal, tuneful, riff-laden garage metal anthems evoking images of urban debauchery, violence, human dementia, and conquest. With stylistic nods to the hard rock of the 70s and 80s, as well as the NWOBHM, BIBLE OF THE DEVIL intend their moniker as a euphemism for Rock n’ Roll itself, a lofty declaration of their electric mission. Having toured extensively throughout the United States in the years of the new millennium, the band has several releases to their credit including: FIREWATER AT MY COMMAND (2002, Genuflect Records), TIGHT EMPIRE (2003, Raw Deth Records / 2004, Dead Teenager Records) and a split seven inch EP with fellow Chicagoans THE LAST VEGAS (2004, Scarey Records). Most recently, these Windy City metallions have unleashed the opus BRUTALITY, MAJESTY, ETERNITY (2005 Scarey Records CD), their most inundating bar-attack, hard rock/metal amalgamation to date. Boasting a twin-guitar onslaught deftly weaving melodic, harmonized leads in unison with pummeling riff attacks, the propulsive rhythms and infectious vocal stylings of BIBLE OF THE DEVIL coalesce to form a veritable Rock n’ Roll juggernaut. Having blasted the roof off of American venues from coast to coast, the hell-obsessed freight train to fuck-all known as BIBLE OF THE DEVIL also made its way to mainland Europe in 2005, embarking on a six-country tour in September. With a punishing output both live and recorded, BIBLE OF THE DEVIL is truly a band for those that demand their metal sans the prefix "nu".
