BAND: Angel City Outcasts
BY UNKNOWN
Biografie
Five years in the making, Angel City Outcasts was finally formed in early 2002 with ex-members of two local LA punk bands, Youth Rebellion and Broke ´til Thursday. Being friends for years, Alex Brugge (lead vocals), Alex Zabolotsky (bass), Tak Boroyan (lead guitar) and Bob Zamudio (rhythm guitar) saw it as a perfect opportunity to consolidate their personal chemistry and will with a single band. Right around that time the four met Ryan Markley (drums), whose personality and musical taste was in sync with the rest of the group and ACO was at last complete. Rearranging a small selection of key songs written in the previous two bands, the band shortly formed a foundation for a distinct style, which combines the urgency and charisma of street-punk and the versatility and skill of classic Rock ´n Roll. Angel City Outcasts brand of street rock is an assault against the often substandard, pretentious and boring music crowding the airwaves of today´s TV and radio. The band´s mission is to put brass balls as well as skill back into Rock ´n Roll. ACO´s musical influences are all over the spectrum including not only punk from every decade but also old country, rockabilly, hardcore, metal and everything in between. The result is one hell of a powerhouse quintet guaranteed to kick your ass!Quelle: http://www.angelcityoutcasts.com/index2.htm
