DESPISED ICON was formed in September 2000 with the intention of creating music that is at once brutal and honest. Their style is a mixture of death metal, hardcore and grindcore. Preoccupied with the current state of the human condition, the band attempts to expose in its own way the vices of man. This group from Montreal features members that have also played with Neuraxis, Necrotic Mutation, Vocifération, Heaven´s Cry and In Dying Days. D.I. recorded its first album "Consumed by your Poison" with one of its own guitarists Yannick St-Amand (Neuraxis, Martyr, Unquintessence, etc.). This album contains 10 songs and is available on Galy Records. Despise the icons...
