Biografie

Lars Frederiksen And The Bastards ‘Viking’ is the 2nd solo record produced by Tim Armstrong. After a year of traveling, Rancid ended their “Indestructible Tour” in Japan on February 16th 2004. From February 16-20th, 2004 Lars and Tim stayed in Tokyo to work on demo songs for a brand new Lars Frederiksen And The Bastards album. In addition, all the photography on the record was shot by Tim Armstrong.

Tim and Lars began their side project collaboration, 3 years ago, which has produced two outstanding PUNK ROCK albums, both produced and co-written by Tim and the latest “Viking”, mixed by Brett Gurewitz.

To date the band has played punk shows over the globe, including stints with label mates Dropkick Murphy´s and as the main act for both Punks Vs. Psychos Tours, a tour idea drummed up by Lars to spotlight Hellcat Records punk and psycho bands.

The band recently played the 2004 Punks Vs Psychos II tour and a U.S. headline tour. They will be on the Main stage of the 2004 Warped Tour, then Europe, Japan and the U.S. through 2005.
